Understanding that many of our subscribers live alone, away from family members and caregivers, AMAC's Activators and Enhancements provide a viable solution for those subscribers exposed to social and environmental risks normally associated with living alone.

SmartTouch™ Medical Alert Systemonal Activator
Designed with subscribers' needs in mind, SmartTouch blends customer driven research with innovative technology to create the most advanced wireless alert activator. Available in both wrist and pendant configurations, SmartTouch allows subscribers to move freely about their homes without ever being far from assistance.

Water Resistant - Provides protection in the bathroom, where many emergencies occur.
Low Battery Alert Signal - SmartTouch automatically notifies the Medical Monitoring Center when the battery requires changing.
Repetitive Signal Stream - SmartTouch sends a signal burst to improve transmission reliability.
Indicator Light - Provides a visual cue to the subscriber indicating the activator is transmitting.

Enhancements

Silent Panic Activator
For individuals who are socially at risk, the System can be integrated with a Silent Panic Activator offering added security. When the subscriber feels physically threatened or is concerned about his or her personal safety, activation of the Silent Panic Activator will transmit a silent signal to the monitoring center allowing the operator to monitor in-home activity, verify the emergency and notify proper authorities.

Smoke Detector
The System can be easily integrated with smoke detectors to alert the Medical Monitoring Center of a smoke condition in the home. When activated, the smoke detector triggers the system to initiate an alert signal to the Monitoring Center. The trained operator receives the signal, attempts to establish two-way voice communication and immediately notifies emergency personnel and responders. Even if the subscriber is not at home, personal possessions can be protected from the destruction of smoke and fire.
